In October of 2021, Hope Haven of East Texas opened a Supervised Independent Living program to assist girls aging out of foster care.  This type of home has long been a dream that God gave to both Hope Haven and Southern Oaks and He is now making it a reality!  Southern Oaks has remodeled a home near the church that will provide college age foster children a place to live while they learn to navigate the adult world.  The need for this type of support is great in our community and we are so excited to be part of the work God is doing to meet the need.

 

We need your prayer and support now more than ever!  Here are some ways you can help, pray, and give:

 

 

PRAY for the future of this ministry, for the girls who will be residents of the home, and for those who will work with them.

 

GIVE to support the daily needs of the Oak Haven Transitional Home.

 

VOLUNTEER to be a light to the girls in our home.
